Hello! My name is Beth Penrice and I am a 5th-year architecture student at the University of Arkansas. I was born in Texas, spent a couple of years in Wisconsin, but ultimately grew up around Tulsa, Oklahoma. I graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 2017, and plan to return to Tulsa after graduating.
I chose to study architecture because I love design and the opportunity to be creative every day. I have about 3 years of experience in residential design outside of my schooling, but I am eager to tackle more commercial projects in the future. If I had to describe myself in 3 words I would choose organized, dependable and witty. I am interested in developing my skills in sustainable and interior design, but at the moment I am most interested in working towards becoming a project manager. I thrive in an organized environment, but I do think it's important to recognize the exciting results that spontaneity can produce.
